Gameplay Programmer

Role description
Sceneri is seeking a talented and passionate gameplay programmer to join our team. As a gameplay programmer, you will work closely with designers, artists, and other programmers to develop and implement game mechanics, AI systems, and user interfaces that enhance the player experience.
As a key member of the team you’ll be involved in crafting the mechanics as well as the game rules to execute scene-wide logic.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and artists to design, implement and iterate game mechanics and features.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Implement AI systems to create engaging and challenging enemy behavior.
- Create and maintain user interfaces that are intuitive and easy to use.
- Work with the technical team to optimize game performance and identify and resolve bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and bring new ideas to the team.
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills in C++ or C#.
- Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or a custom engine is a plus.
- Experience in game development, with at least one shipped title.
- Knowledge of gameplay systems, AI programming, and user interface design.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
